Threlkeld Coffee Shop

18 May Threlkeld Coffee Shop

160518_Threlkeld_Coffee_Shop_RvHeclw2_cropIf you are searching for a cup of Fairtrade coffee, tea or hot chocolate, the place to visit is the Threlkeld Coffee Shop. When Threlkeld Village Hall was renovated, a coffee shop was built into the Hall with a grand view of Clough Head and St. John’s in the Vale.  The managers of the coffee shop, which is a Community Interest Company, are firmly committed to ethical practice, so their drinks and sugar are Fairtrade sourced and the staff, whatever their age, are paid at least a genuine Living Wage, well above the National Living Wage, as the minimum wage has been renamed.
