There are now over 6,000 Fairtrade certified products in the UK.

These include Chocolate, Wine, Tea, Coffee, Flowers, Nuts, Bananas, Dried Fruits, Sugar, Baking Ingredients, Ice-Cream and Cotton ..

Well loved Chocolatiers Guylian have recently turned 100% Fairtrade

Tony’s Chocolonely are recent additions to the Fairtrade & Slavery Free market.

We have listed retailers in and around Keswick who offer Fairtrade, and have noted some of their Fairtrade products – including those from Fairtrade pioneers such as CaféDirect.  In fact – all of the grocery stores in Keswick stock some Fairtrade products. Some Keswickians prefer to shop out of town – so we also have Sainsburys & more recently Aldi & Lidl – though these are not newcomers to Fairtrade.

We promote local (for Sustainability reasons) so some Craft products & places are also listed – though by no means all.

(Sadly Fairtrade founder members Traidcraft went into Administration – but online retailers such as Ethical Superstore have plenty of Fairtrade goods available for bulk buy /those who find shopping online easier.
